Waynesfield Returns for The Weekend Warrior Showcase!

WAYNESFIELD, Ohio (5/17/18) – Following two back to back weekends with extra money on the line, Waynesfield Raceway Park in Waynesfield, OH returns back to action this Saturday with four classes of racing on tap! After taking a week off, the Quest Federal Credit Union Non Wing Sprint’s return for their third night of the season, as well as the return of the Performance Powder Coating AMSA Mini Sprints, and the Indian Lake Outfitters Compact division. Additionally, the Block Insurance Agency Tough Trucks will make their return to the 1/3rd mile, with a special memorial race planned for this class.

With the help of multiple local businesses and organizers, the Tough Trucks will run the Jeff Augustine Memorial Truck Race. Jeff was a 10 year sponsor on the 37j truck of Roy Miller, and sadly passed away over the winter. Miller wanted to honor his longtime friend and supporter, so this event slated for Saturday May 19th will be celebrated with heavy hearts, and fond memories of Jeff. While he never made it to Waynesfield to watch a race with farming season being the same as racing, Jeff never failed to call Roy or stop over following a night of racing. This Saturdays Tough Truck race will be in honor of this great man.

For FOUR classes of racing slated for this Saturday, adult general admission is just $12! Kids aged 11-15 are admitted for $6, with everyone under the age of 10 admitted for FREE. Pit access is available to anyone for $25
