Modified Money Showdown This Saturday!
WAYNESFIELD, Ohio (5/11/18) – After an action-packed opening night for the Satellite Connections UMP Modified’s, all systems are a go for the Modified Money Showdown at Waynesfield Raceway Park this Saturday night! With over 30 cars contending last Saturday, even more are expected to compete for an increased purse paying $1,500 to win! Not only will the winner be taking home more money, an increased purse throughout the field will be paid with $150 being awarded just to start. In addition to the UMP Modifieds, the Modified Lite Stars will be making their only appearance of the 2018 season, paying $500 to win and $75 to start!
Along with two classes of Modified’s competing, the Indian Lake Outfitter’s Compact division will return back to action. The Compacts will also be battling for an increased purse with $300 to win, and $50 to start. On top of three divisions of racing expected to be action packed, the Vintage American Race Cars will also be making their only appearance of 2018!
Adult general admission is just $12. Kids aged 11-15 are admitted for $6 with everyone under the age of ten admitted for FREE. Pit access is available to anyone for $30. Pit entrance will open at 4:00pm, grandstands at 5:00pm, with hot lops beginning at 6:00pm, and racing at 7:00pm!
